Jo Ann M. Friedman's Obituary
Jo Ann M. Friedman, age 78, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
Jo Ann is survived by her loving children; Scott Friedman, Leslie (Anthony) Bazzano, Michael (Jackie) Friedman, and David Friedman. Cherished Gigo of Joanna Bazzano, Christina Bazzano, Taylor Friedman, Kristopher Friedman, and Alec Friedman. Loving sister of Barbara Kraus and Gary Fries. Jo Ann is also survived by her former husband, Charles Friedman; a host of nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Loretta Fries.
Jo Ann was an avid reader, gardener, and cook. She enjoyed watching the Discovery Channel, particularly programs about elephants. She always had a fun fact to share. She was happiest surrounded by family and friends.
Family and friends are welcomed on Monday, August 30, 2021 from 4 to 8 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A Blessings Service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10 am in the Funeral Home's Chapel.
