Jessica tutored my daughter in math. I just found out today about her passing and I am heartbroken. She was such a wonderful person and changed my daughter’s school year last year. I am so thankful for her and send her family my most sincere condolences. ❤️
I remember visiting Jessica at her home to see her first born, Isla! Jessica and I had lunch together at The Porch in Oakland a couple of years ago. We kept in touch through phone messages and Facebook. We kept our conversations upbeat and with a spirit of gratitude. She and I always ended our talks with, " I love you." Man, this is rough. We have lost a bright light in our neighborhood. We will miss Jessica's beautiful smile, her love of flowers and gardening, her creativity, chatting on the front porch and seeing her walk the streets with her loving family. Jessica was so strong and positive an inspiration to all. I was blessed to have her as my neighbor. Heaven gained an angel and may her spirit live in the lives she touched.

Jessica was a truly beautiful soul. We met during COVID times when I had an infant and would walk up and down our street. Isla was just a little bit older than my son, and we stopped to talk and introduce ourselves. We realized that we were both language teachers and had a love for nature, flowers, and ethnic foods. I loved when Jessica would walk by our house and we got to say hello and catch up. She was the sweetest person, always asking how everyone was. We are truly saddened at the loss of such an incredibly kind and lovely person.
