Jennielee M. Banks' Obituary
Jennielee Banks, 92, of Beaver, PA. passed away peacefully on Easter Day, April 9, 2023.
Jennielee is survived by her son, Benjamin Banks; her sister, Dorothy Baker.
Preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ben Banks; her parents, Arthur and Hattie Smith; and her brother, Jack Smith.
Jennielee was born and raised on Pittsburgh's North Side. She attended Bidwell United Presbyterian church where she was an active member for many years. Jennielee was active in her community in both her spare time and while she worked as a nurse. She was always there to help.
In her later years, she loved to garden and watch the birds. Jennielee would play the piano from the time she woke up until she went to bed. She and her sister, Dorothy loved to travel wherever they could.
Like most Pittsburghers, Jennielee bled black and gold. She loved everything Pittsburgh sports, but especially the Steelers.
Jennielee had a personality that was bigger than life and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, April 15th from 11 A.M. until the time of service at 12 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
