Jennie (Wojnar) Tomko, age 89, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 8th, 2018. Beloved wife, of 63 years to Michael A. Tomko; mother of Carol (Conrad) Feiling and Michael A. (Robin) Tomko; grandma of James Feiling and Andy and Lee Tomko; sister of Mary Padovano, Lois Mattes, Annie Schenker, and Frances Yasher. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Wojnar and her brothers, Joseph and Frank Wojnar. Jennie enjoyed keeping her hands busy with work and was a pottery worker, a bakery clerk and a meat wrapper and also enjoyed creating oil paintings. Above all, Jennie loved going out to eat with her family, she will be dearly missed by all.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday and Friday from 2 - 4p.m. & 6 - 8 p.m. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh PA 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m., 5200 Greenridge Dr, Pittsburgh PA 15236. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St, Pittsburgh PA 15243. Online condolences may be made at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
