Jeffrey Paul Weisman's Obituary
Jeffrey Paul Weisman, age 76 passed away on January 9, 2025.. Born on July 10, 1948, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jeffrey was a devoted family man and a proud veteran, having served as a Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard until his retirement in July 2008.
A resident of Pittsburgh and Charlotte, Jeffrey was known for his genuine simplicity and deep love for his family. He took great joy in watching sports of all kinds, often cheering for any game that involved a ball. He was an avid golfer, relishing the company of friends during yearly golf trips, which remained a cherished tradition throughout his life. Above all, Jeffrey was passionate about his grandchildren, taking immense pride in their accomplishments and nurturing their interests.
Jeffrey is survived by his beloved wife, Leslye Weisman; his children, Megan (Jason) Gerendash and Jared (Sujin Leechor) Weisman; his grandchildren, Jordan Gerendash, Mason Gerendash, and Paul Leechor; his sister, Sherry (the late Harvey) Wimmer; and his many loving friends and relatives who will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Ruthe Weisman and his sister, Hope Weintraub.
In honor of Jeffrey's wishes, private services will be held.
