Janice M. Bevan's Obituary
Janice Bevan, 81, of Upper St. Clair, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025.
Janice enjoyed a life enriched by her passions and the love of her family, which included her favorite activities of bowling and baking, particularly her renowned blueberry pie.
She spent many joyful hours boating with her family, creating lifelong memories on the water. She was a longstanding resident of Friendship Village, where she engaged wholeheartedly in community life, becoming known as the "head of the table" amongst her peers and relishing her time spent in friendly competition at BINGO.
Janice is survived by her son, James "Jim" P. (Debbie) Bevan, Jr.; grandchildren, Tyler Bevan (Amber), Jami (Matt) McLaughlin, Michael Lastaukas and the late Dustin Rex; as well as two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, James P. Bevan, Sr.; her parents, Paul and Marie Minch; and her brother, William Minch.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Janice's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March, 26th from 10 - 12 P.M. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 12 P.M. at the funeral home.
