Janet Louise Curran Waldron
Age 83, died peacefully in her sleep on March 9, 2016 when she was called home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born March 30, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Dr. John H. Curran and Thelma C. Curran. She loved her Lord and family above all things. After earning her Graduate Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Social Work, she offered Christian-based counseling and guidance to hundreds of people throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. Family and friends will be received Monday, March 14, from 2-3 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A Blessing Service will follow in the funeral home chapel. She is survived by her husband, John Friend Waldron; daughter, Lynne Anne; son Kenneth (Annette); 2 sisters, Joan Bope, Jane Carpenter (John); numerous nieces and nephews as well as 4 grandchildren; Michael Christian Waldron, Ryan Friend Waldron, Zachary Waldron Fahnestock and Jenna Louise Fahnestock Boulware
Janet was loved enormously by family and friends. Her life will be celebrated by all for years to come. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Marion County, Florida (PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478-4860).
