Janet Louise Taylor's Obituary
Janet Louise Taylor (nee Winslow), age 85, of Country Meadows in South Fayette, PA went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 10, 2020.
Janet was born in Parker, PA on March 31, 1935 to Margaret and J. Carleton Winslow. She moved to Indiana PA in 1940, she attended Indiana Borough of Public Schools graduating from Indiana JR-SR High School in 1953. She attended Indiana State Teacher's College (IUP) graduating in 1957 with a teaching degree in Home Economics. She was married to Donald W. Taylor December 26, 1957. After teaching for a year in Oil City PA, she moved to the Pittsburgh area where she has resided ever since. She was active in her children's school activities some included, Cub Scout Den Mother, the South Park High School Band Boosters, the South Park Library, and past President of the South Park Women's Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Taylor and her parents, J. Carleton and Margaret Winslow.
Janet is survived by her loving children, Stephen V. Taylor and Beverly T. (Mark) Kennedy; Brother, John (Bonnie) Winslow; Sister, Eleanor (Edward) Dearolph; Grandson, Patrick Kennedy; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
