Janet G. Ferguson (Grenfell)'s Obituary
Janet G. Ferguson, 80, of Bethel Park, unexpectedly passed away peacefully at home on February 10, 2017. She was born in Elizabeth, PA on April 24, 1936. Janet Ann enjoyed 58 years of marriage to her beloved husband Harry D. Ferguson, who preceded her in death on January 31, 2015. She is survived by her children, David, Linda (Chuck) McKinney-Dewson, Cathy (Pete) Dupilka, Gary, and Susan Everheart; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as many cousins and friends, and her faithful "guard-dog", Millie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas E. and Lena Grenfell, Sr. and her brother, Thomas E. Grenfell Jr. Janet Ann was a 25 year employee at St. Clair Hospital before retiring. She was an avid reader, knitter, cross-stitcher, bridge player, and was famous for her sweet tooth.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 15, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 16, at 11:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Bethel United Methodist Church (5901 Library Rd, Bethel Park, PA 15102) or the Hidden Valley Animal Clinic (100 Oakhurst Drive, McMurray, PA 15317).
