Janet G. DiGorio's Obituary
Janet G. DiGorio (Morrow), affectionately known as Gram, Grammy, Mucca, GG and Jammit, passed away on December 9, 2023. She was born on June 23, 1938 to the late Robert and Emily Morrow. She resided in Bethel Park for many years.
Janet had many hobbies, which included crafting, bingo and collecting antiques. She also loved taking care of her many plants. She was the matriarch of her family who she loved dearly. However, one of her biggest passions was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with them. She also never met a stranger that she couldn't turn into a friend. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Diane DiGorio; grandchildren Lynnette (Eric), Michelle, Daria (Brian), Anthony, Kayla, Keegan (Sarah) and Karley; great-grandchildren Hailey, Kenneth, Leah, Ethan, Anthony, Aiden and Ashton; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her children Anthony DiGorio and Cynthia Shudy, and siblings Robert Jr., Catherine, John and Emily.
Family and friends are welcomed for visitation on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 12 pm - 4 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 4 pm in the funeral home's chapel.
