Janet Ann (Krauth) Bauer, 73, of Brentwood (formerly of Brookline), passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Janet is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jerome Bauer. Adored mother of John B Read Obituary
I worked with Janet at the post office, she was a very nice person. Her fellow employees are saddened to hear of her passing.
We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Janet Bauer. We became friends very shortly after my family moved to the neighborhood is 2013. Many days we would run into each other outside while she tended to her flower garden in the front yard and we would talk for long periods of time. Often we would make jokes about current events and politics. She would often bring presents for our children and our german shepherd. Mrs Bauer will always be in our hearts and minds for her hard work ethic, love for animals, kind and friendly personality and joyous sense of humor. Janet will be dearly missed and our thoughts are with her family
Janet is weaved into some of my earliest childhood memories. The bar was our second home and provided for us. Her life and laughter will be missed.

We are so saddened to hear about Janet. We will always remember her warm and throaty laugh, her welcoming smile and that she never knew a stranger….We will remember that fabulous lasagna dinner that she prepared for us after we arrived in Pa……and a few happy hours that we shared with her and family. Rest in peace, Janet…….and our deepest sympathy to family…..
