James C. Steinkamp's Obituary
James C. Steinkamp, 90, of Pittsburgh, passed away on May 27, 2023.
James is survived by his daughter Karen (the late Lynn) Brooks and nephew Richard (Dolores) Dudiak.
Preceded in death by his wife Barbara Steinkamp, parents Charles and Lauretta Steinkamp, and siblings Viola Decker, Carl Steinkamp, Charles Schu, Irma Dudiak, and Alice Devlin.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his caregiver Cynthia for taking excellent care of him for the past 7 years.
Jim was a lifelong aviation enthusiast and pilot. He also was a co-founder of RE/MAX South, Inc. Realtors.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 12 noon - 2 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A Blessing Service will immediately follow in the funeral home's chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in James' name to a charity of your choosing.
