James "Jim" M. Nikolic's Obituary
James "Jim" M. Nikolic, of Jefferson Borough, died on May 30, 2021 at the age of 78.
He recently celebrated 51 years of marriage to his wife, Kim. Jim was a proud Union Steamfitter out of Local 449 for over 40 years and a lifetime member of the Croatian Fraternal Union. Jim served in the Army, and often reminisced about his time in Germany.
Jim was an active Pappy to Jack and Josie Nikolic and looked forward to every minute with them. He took pride in teaching them to ski, snowboard and bike. Jim enjoyed using his skills acquired in the Steamfitters to create artistic pieces from copper and stainless steel. He was featured as an "Emerging Artist" at the Three Rivers Arts Festival in 2005.
Jim is survived by his wife, Kimberly; son, Jared (Natalie) Nikolic; grandchildren, Jack and Josie Nikolic; and daughter, Desirée (Scott) Hrabar.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Mary Nikolic; and his sister, Donna Lonchiek.
Friends will be received on June 2nd from 3-6 P.M. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A prayer service will be held at 6 P.M.
