James Edwin Miller, Age 82, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on Thursday, November 30, 2017.
Beloved Husband of the late Betty Jane (Feldman) Miller; Father of Amy (John) Demeo, Stacy Miller (Alison Kaelin), Stephen James (Donna) Miller, Glenn (Amy) Miller and Timothy (Sue) Miller; Grandfather of Casey Rihtarchik, Kerry Mahoney, Mindy DeMeo, Rachael Altounian, Katherine Clifford, Kaelin Miller, Maggie Miller, Emily Miller, Audrey Miller, Bonny Miller, Will Miller. Great grandfather of Lexie Grodes, Michael Mahoney, Sidney Mahoney; Jim was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Eleanor Bockstoce, and Marlene Ingole. A longtime member of International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades Local 751. Former Cubmaster of Pack 209 out of Bethel Park. Jim was a skilled and talented woodworker who used his skills to remodel his home and build cabinetry, as well as create numerous pieces for family and friends. Jim was a successful hunter and a skilled marksman.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 3rd, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 4th, at 12 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Jefferson Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the Bethel Park Community Foundation.
