James "Magoo" McGoogan
Age 76, of Baldwin Boro, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. Beloved husband of 57 years to Patricia L. (Stromberg) McGoogan; son of the late James H. and Grace H. (Ashbaugh) McGoogan; brother of Linda J. McGoogan and the late Fredrick McGoogan; loving father of Sandra L. (Thomas) Bradley, Ron W. (Jamie) McGoogan, Valarie L. McGoogan, and Debbie A. (Paul) Schmitt; grandfather of Megan M. (Luke) Morgan, Christopher P. Schmitt, Anna F., Bailey R. and Emily N. McGoogan; great grandfather of Eloise D. Morgan; step grandfather of Corey and Justin Homa; also survived by numerous lifelong friends and co-workers at PCC. James was a member of Bethel Park Masonic Lodge #761 and the Syria Shrine AAONMS, Cheswick. He was an avid golfer and bowler. Jim loved traveling and watching the Steelers. Visitation will be held Thursday and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, where funeral services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church - 4301 Brownsville Road, Pgh, PA 15236 or the Syria Shriner's Children's Hospital, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
