Jimmy Kiefer's Obituary
James "Jimmy" M. Kiefer, age 52, of Jefferson Hills, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 6, 2026. Born on September 30, 1973, Jimmy is the beloved son of Harry and Lucille (Sventy) Kiefer of Jefferson Hills.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy also leaves his brothers, Russ (Lori) Kiefer and Andy (Jo Ann) Kiefer; his nephew, Nolan Kiefer and niece, Vivian Kiefer and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jimmy grew up in the Baldwin Whitehall area and attended local schools, graduating from Baldwin High School. He was the proud owner of Light Brothers, a family-run screen printing business. He cherished the connections he made through his work, appreciating the time it allowed him to spend with family and friends. Known for his outgoing nature, Jimmy was incredibly social, always ready to start a conversation with anyone he met or lend a helping hand to those in need.
In his younger years, Jimmy enjoyed bowling, football, baseball, hockey, and mimicking the horse racing announcer. As he grew older, he relished the opportunity to be "on the run," making the most of every moment with his loved ones. He found joy in camping trips with his brother and sister-in-law, always surrounded by laughter and good times.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 1 Grove Pl, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in honor of Jimmy may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
