Age 94, of Bridgeville, PA, on May 14, 2016. Beloved husband of Kaete (Wassmann) Dalke for 68 years. Loving father of Rosemarie (Jeff) Lynn of Upper St. Clair, and Hans Walter (Donna) Dalke of Bridgeville; grandfather of Brian M. (Kelly) Dalke, Jennifer Dalke, and Brian J. Dalke; great-grandfather of Evie M. Dalke; two sisters living in Germany, and his brother, Hugo Dalke, of Vancouver, BC, Canada.
He was born in Rumania and immigrated from Germany to the USA at age 30, settling in Bridgeville, PA with his young family. He was a skilled craftsman and master carpenter, and a long-time member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters local #142. Jake worked for Silhol Builders and Mac & Mac Builders. He was a life member of Teutonia Mannerchor Club. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff at Country Meadows and BRCC who cared and ensured his comfort. Jake was loved by many and will be missed by all.
