Irene E. (Halko) Stanzel
Irene Stanzel, 86, of West Mifflin passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Emery L. Stanzel, Jr., and daughter of the late John and Anna Halko of Munhall. Irene is survived by her loving children, Michael E. (Kathy) Stanzel, Janet L. (Greg) Marzina, and Deborah (Bud) Friedline. Cherished Grandmother of Nicole S. (Mike) Namey, Michael C. Stanzel, Travis R. Marzina, Alexa L. Marzina, William T. (Trey) Friedline, III, and Great-Grandmother of Natalie Nicole Namey.
Irene is also survived by her loving sisters Diane (Bill) Sober, Shirley (late Marty) Ott, her treasured brother-in-law Al Kelly and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her other sisters Anna (John) Rubinsak, Mary (Mike) Sorokacs, and Marlene Kelly.
According to Irene's wishes, there will be no visitation. A mass of Christian burial will be held Holy Angels Parish 408 Baldwin Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15207 on Monday, April 2, at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Robert Ahlin officiating.
