Irene M. Sobieralski's Obituary
Irene M. Sobieralski (Wuenschel), 94, of Baldwin Borough, formerly of Mt. Oliver, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, August 8th surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by husbands Paul Wuenschel and Joseph Sobieralski, parents Sophia and Stanley Sobczak, sister Ruth Dvorak, brother Stanley Sobczak and son Philip Sobieralski. She is survived by her sister Rita McCarthy; children Claudia Finnegan, John Sobieralski, Janet Nemec, Thomas Sobieralski, Marty Sobieralski, David Wuenschel, Elaine Bassani, Paula McGill, James Sobieralski and Roseann Palamides. She enjoyed her 21 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Irene was very proud of her merged family. She was a member of The Red Hat Society, enjoyed crafts and volunteered at St. Wendelin's Church, St. Joseph's Church and Mt. Oliver Borough.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 - 8 p.m. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, Pa 15236. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home's chapel on Saturday at 10 am.
