Irene M. "Renie" Coulter's Obituary
Irene M. "Renie" Coulter, age 79, of Jefferson Hills, passed away following a long illness on December 2, 2021.
Irene is survived by her beloved husband, William G. Coulter; children, James M. (Wendy) Coulter and Deborah L. Morocco; grandchildren, Erika Vasques and Calista Coulter; a special niece, Kari Golden; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham and Ethel Kendall; and her brothers, Wayne Kendall and Ernest Kendall
Renie's first job was at McKeesport Hospital where she became the first secretary that the radiology department ever had. She went on to become a dispatcher at OBL, Ohio Barge Lines for 18 years until the company was sold. In her spare time, she loved baking cookies and cakes and watching the hummingbirds sip from the feeder she prepared for them. She was a life long member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
Above all, Renie was the most giving wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. She always sent food and baked goods to anyone who needed it, and even those who didn't. Renie will be missed by all who knew her.
Friends will be received on Monday, December 6th from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 7th at 10 A.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
