Howard Matthew Stilley, Jr.'s Obituary
Howard M. Stilley, Jr., 89, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025.
He is survived by the love of his life, his devoted wife, Elizabeth "Betty" (Linder) Stilley, with whom he shared a deep and unwavering bond. Their love was testament to a lifetime of companionship, joy, and devotion-true soulmates who walked every step of life's journey together.
He is survived by his sister Joy Marquis, and many cherished nieces and nephews, in-laws, and many friends. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Hilda (Franz) Stilley, his brothers, Ronald "Joe" Stilley and Gary Stilley.
Howard grew up in Library, PA, where he graduated from Snowden Township High School. He continued his education, earning a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master's degree from Duquesne University. He found great fulfillment in his career as a teacher in Crafton School District and later as an elementary school principal at Carlynton School District, where he made a lasting, impact through his dedication and kindness.
In accordance with Howard's wishes, funeral services will be private.
