Howard G. Bernstein's Obituary
Howard G. Bernstein, 83, of Pittsburgh, shed his earthly body on November 24, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Zink Cook; children, Mary Beth (Kevin), Hollie (Glenn), Nan, and Andrew (Claudia); grandchildren, Drake, Kyla, Alex (Paloma), Brooke (Jason), Blake, and Carson; great-grandchildren, Adam Lucas and Marcus; brother, Thomas (Karen); many extended family members and friends, as well as his beloved sato, Alex. During the Korean War, Howie was very proud of his time in the Air Force where he served as a cryptographer with a Q Clearance, which he kept confidential. He ended his military career stationed at the Pentagon. Friends will be received on Sunday, November 27, 2016, 9-10 AM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Funeral Ceremony will be held Sunday at 10 AM at Jefferson Memorial Park. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE FUNERAL HOME NO LATER THAN 9:40 AM.
