Hermine Anna Ross' Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Hermine A. Ross (Judy), 88, of West Mifflin, PA passed on June 30, 2025 in the comfort of her home. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother or "Oma", Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother, Sister, Daughter and Friend.
She is now free from pain and at peace in heaven, reunited with her loved ones. She was a stubborn, strong-willed, independent German woman, with a heart filled with love and devotion. As a mother, she dedicated her life to her children. She was incredibly selfless and always putting others' needs before her own. Everyone who met her loved her and was touched by her warmth and kindness.
Our mom worked harder than anyone we know, with a strong work ethic. She loved knitting, her flowers, was an avid bowler and loved having game nights wherever she could. One of her favorite places to go was anywhere she could play Bingo. At home, she enjoyed watching her Cowboy movies and making nut roll cookies to give out as gifts.
We will deeply miss her beautiful smile, her contagious laughter, her loving hugs and the humor she brought to our lives. We will always remember the fun times we shared together. We love you Mom, and take comfort in knowing that you will continue to watch over us from heaven.
She is survived by her children Margit (The late Tim) Kostelnick, Linda (John) Miller, Katherine (Merle) Reigh and son Brian Ross; grandchildren Jessica, Brittany, Kath, John, Alex, Tyler, Brooke, Brynn, Matthew and Valerie; great grandchildren Bailey and Levi; and great great granddaughters Chandler and Lyla. Preceded in death by her daughter Maria; parents Benno and Anna Hemmerle; brothers Werner (Margot) Hemmerle and Benno (Emma) Hemmerle.
All services are private and have been entrusted to Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
