Herman Cohen's Obituary
Herman Cohen, age 90, of West Mifflin, lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Herman proudly served our country in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge from the army, he enjoyed several office jobs including HJ Heinz, Mellon Bank, and most recently with the Allegheny County Department of Aging, from where he retired. He is fondly remembered as a kind and caring man who will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
Herman is survived by his son, Greg (Cary) Cohen; grandchildren, Nicole (Julian) Alvarez and Brandon (Melissa) Cohen; and his great grandchildren, Jack and Noah.
A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 1:00 pm at St. Thomas A' Becket Church, Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, 139 Gill Hall Rd, Clairton, PA 15025. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Herman may be made to The Nature Conservancy.
