Harry A. Story's Obituary
Harry Allen Story, age 91, of Pittsburgh, passed away on December 26, 2020.
Harry is survived by his beloved children, Sandra L. Appleman and David (Donna) Story, and his grandchildren, Heather, Michelle, and Stephanie.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Doris to whom he was married for 48 years.
In his younger years, Harry enjoyed painting and wood-crafting. He was an avid reader and loved doing the crossword puzzles everyday. He never missed a single Steelers or Penguins game. Harry was highly accomplished and respected as an engineer at US Steel, and in his later years was part of the team that oversaw the construction of the new wing at Jefferson Hospital.
Family and friends are welcomed for visitation on Wednesday, December 30th, 2020, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. There will be only 10 guests allowed in a visitation room at a time. Everyone must wear masks and maintain social distancing at all times. A Chapel Service will be held following visitation at 12 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Condolences may be shared at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
