Harry Potts' Obituary
Harry Potts, 85, of Castle Shannon, entered eternal life on September 6, 2025.
He was the loved and loving husband of Faith (Pritchard) Potts for 58 years; a wonderful father to Melanie (James) Holloway and David (Lynn) Potts, and an amazing Pap to Cody (Bella Marino), Devin and Madeline Potts. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Harry was reunited in Heaven with his parents, George and Nettie Potts, his sister, Mary Jane Frawley and brothers George, Jr. and Francis Potts.
Harry was a long-time active member of Faith Lutheran Church, a proud Vietnam Veteran, and Past Master of Monongahela Lodge F & AM #269. Harry enjoyed Pittsburgh sports and more than that, enjoyed playing sports. He played softball until he was 75 and bowled and played volleyball into his 80's. He also enjoyed amateur magic, camping with his family and friends, and playing cards with them. Half of his working life was spent as a warehouseman and then as the maintenance supervisor at a local nursing and rehab facility.
Harry loved God, his family and his country. He was a kind and loving man who will remain in our hearts forever.
Our family is grateful to the staff of St. Clair Hospital and Gallagher Hospice for their compassionate and excellent care to Harry and our family.
