Gregory A. Martz, 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 6, 2025. Gregory is survived by his wife Cynthia Martz; daughters Abigail (Ariel Squire) Martz and Allison Martz; sister Deborah (Chris) Tuite; brother- Read Obituary
It’s hard to believe that it’s been more than 50 years since Greg and I started our freshman year together at Kentucky Wesleyan College. We had many good times there yet we still managed to go to most of our classes. After our sophomore year we both decided to transfer schools, Greg to Penn State, me to IUP. Still we kept in touch.
After Greg and Cindy got married and Ann and I got married, my jobs took me farther away from the Pittsburgh area (Ohio, NYC, the Philadelphia area, then, finally, New Jersey). Even though we could not get together much, I always look back to that time in my life fondly and always considered Greg to be a good friend.
