Grace I. Bosic's Obituary
Grace Bosic, 94, of Pleasant Hills, passed away peacefully on Friday June 26, 2026.
Beloved wife of 57 years to the late John G. Bosic; loving mother of John R (Dorothy) and Robert E. Bosic; proud grandmother of Kara, John "Jack" and Paige; great-grandmother to Caleb Wancowicz; Sister to Clair (Matt) Cook and the late Bill, Paul, Eugene and George Waigand, Margie Adams and Gertrude (Bo) Jacobs; daughter of the late Margaret F. and William G. Waigand.
Grace worked for years keeping books for the Steelworkers and sampling cheese at Hickory Farms. Her most important job, though, was in between as the full-time mother to John and Rob, a second mother to daughter-in-law Dorothy, and as the wife to the late John G. Bosic through it all. She was a hard worker who gave her best self to everything she did.
She had many friends over the years who would visit almost daily at the house and she was always available for words of comfort or advice or any help that she could give. Grace has also lost many friends and family over the years but always took solace that they were moved to the hands of our Lord and that she would see them again in God's good time.
A Blessing Service will be held at 11:00am on July 6, 2026 in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. 301 Curry Hollow Rd. Pittsburgh PA 15236.
