Goma Dhimal's Obituary
Goma Dhimal, age 81, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Born and raised in Bhutan, Goma was the daughter of Ram Lal Homagai and Kaushila Homagai.
Goma was the loving wife of Tika Ram Dhimal; the beloved mother of Lachuman (Khina and Bishnu Dhungana-Dhimal) Dhimal, Kashi (Januka) Dhimal, Nanda (Keshari) Dhimal, Kamal (Rupa) Dhimal, and Bhuwani (Tuka) Dhimal; the cherished grandmother of Hari Dhimal, Krishna Dhimal Adhikari, Deepa Dhimal Bastola, Bhagwat Dhimal, Puspa Maya Dhimal Phuyel, Shyam Dhimal, Bhim Dhimal, Nikesh Dhimal, Nita Dhimal, Archana Dhimal, Anurag Dhimal, Biplav Dhimal, Barsha Dhimal and Basant Dhimal. Goma was also the great-grandmother of Ian Dhimal, Ava Dhimal, Emma Dhimal, Enya Adhikari, Hrihaan Bastola, and Hrithika Bastola; and the sister to Chitrakhar Homagai, Khada Nanda Homagai, Bhagirath Homagai, and Krishna Maya Gautam.
Goma was a loving and kind mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved staying in touch with her relatives and visiting them when able. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother, always caring for the children. Goma loved the color red and was talented in many different aspects of life. She had a big heart, was helpful and loved everyone, often caring for others first.
Services for Goma were held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
