Glenn A. Spath's Obituary
Glenn A. Spath, age 82, of Crafton Heights, formerly of South Side, passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 23, 2023.
Glenn is survived by wife of 52 years, Kathryn A. Forsberg Spath, his children, Glenn (Susan) Spath, Eric Spath, Jennifer Artascos, and Kenneth (Kimberly) Spath, his grandchildren, Glenn Jr., Eva, Elise, Katelyn, Michael, Kelsey, and Zachary, and three great-grandchildren, Becca, Liam and Xavier.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Irene L. Spath, loving parents George and Harriette Spath, his siblings, George "Whitey", Thomas, Harry, Eugene, and Irene, and his grandson, Eric II.
Glenn was married to his first wife from 1962 to her death in 1969. Then he married Kathryn in 1970, together they raised their 4 children for 52 years. Glenn worked as a Title Examiner for 50 years. He served our nation in the Army and was stationed in Germany from 1956-1959. He loved to hunt and fish with his sons and grandsons. He loved swimming and teaching all his grandkids and great-grandkids how to swim and do the "water spray". He also taught many of the grandchildren how to drive. Glenn loved traveling with his wife beginning in 1995-2022! They also enjoyed their 8 grandkids and 3 great-grandkids. Above all Glenn loved his family and will be missed sorely by all.
Friends and family will be welcomed on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 2:00pm-8:00pm and Monday, March 27, 2023 from 10:00am-2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills PA 15236. A Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held following final visitation at 2:00PM in the Funeral Home Chapel.
