Gerry Zoretich's Obituary
Geraldine "Gerry" Zoretich, age 74, of Pleasant Hills, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Gerry was born in the South Side of Pittsburgh on May 8, 1951, the daughter of the late Alfred Sr. and Theresa (Cieri) Falcione.
Gerry was a graduate of Carrick High School, Class of 1969. She went on to pursue a career at Kaufmann's, where she met her husband of 47 years, the late David Zoretich. Gerry more recently was employed with Macy's and Marshall's where she held the position of supervisor.
An avid Pittsburgh sports fan, Gerry never missed the opportunity to cheer on the Pirates no matter the outcome of the game. She loved musical arts, especially The Phantom of the Opera- seeing it every time it came to Pittsburgh and even sharing a trip alongside her cousin to Toronto. Gerry's passion for music extended with the love of her favorite artists, Neil Diamond and Rod Stewart. Alongside her husband, Gerry enjoyed trips to The Meadows where they enjoyed many of the events throughout each year.
Gerry is survived by her brothers, Alfred Falcione, Jr. and David (Cheryl) Falcione; her nieces and nephews, AJ, Michael, Jodi, and David and numerous cousins and extended family members.
In addition to her loving husband, Dave, Gerry was preceded in death by her niece, Danielle.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A service will be held in the chapel at the funeral home at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
