Georgeann Deby Wolfe's Obituary
Georgeann Deby Wolfe passed away Friday, July 23, 2021. She was born on January 27, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was the youngest daughter of George and Sophia Matvich who preceded her in death in 1982 and 2001.
She was a loving mother to John Wolfe (Edye) and Jessica Baumann (Lauren) as well as a devoted grandmother to Johnny, Kayla, Jakob, Patrick, and Dylan. She was a beloved sister of George, Sonny, Patricia, and Rose. She was a gracious aunt to her 6 nephews. She was a friend to many especially Victoria, Nick and their children as their family welcomed her into their home and hearts.
Georgeann was devoted to her church and enjoyed attending with her friends and neighbors on a weekly basis. She loved to travel with family and friends any chance she had. She was a social butterfly, always chatting on the telephone or inviting neighbors over for endless cups of coffee. She was a kind hearted person and taught her grandchildren the meaning of selflessness. What her family will remember most was that she was accepting of everyone and always had prayers to give. She loved to listen to music and sing along and she loved to dance. She will be greatly missed and always celebrated with a tall stack of pancakes and bottomless vanilla milkshakes.
Family and friends are welcomed on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 10 am until 12 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 pm in the Funeral Home's Chapel. Interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
