George Loris' Obituary
George Loris, age 86, of Finleyville, passed away on October 6, 2025.
George was a man of many passions. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying both hunting and fishing. His love for music resonated through his life, bringing happiness to those around him. He was a proud member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church and actively participated in the Greek community through his membership in GAPA.
George is survived by his children Christine (Richard) Kilgore, Michael A. (Connie) Loris, George D. (Kim) Loris, and Barbara A. (Greg) Loris; grandchildren Louis, James, David, Michael, Steven, Shannon, Andrew, Jacob, Athena, Evan, and Laura; great grandchildren Gwen, Caleb, Lilyonna, Bella, Karina, Aveah, Niyah, and Bobby; sister Mary Calderoni; uncle Angelo Loulis; as well as many nieces and nephews.
George is preceded in death by his wife Beverly 'Ann' Loris and parents Angelo and Sophia Loris.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A Trisagion Service will take place on Saturday, October 11 at 10:00 am in the funeral home's chapel.
