George Jr. Crevar's Obituary
George Crevar age 81 of Columbia, SC (formerly of West Mifflin, PA) passed away September 9, 2016 peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years Lois; daughters and sons-in-law, Georgeann (Rich) Schirra, Kathleen (Dean) Paiano, Lynn Countryman, Diane (Geofrey) Plavchak; grandchildren Chad (Michelle) Schirra, Justin (Brittany) Schirra, Crystal Felicetty, Michael (Nicole) Paiano, James Paiano, Daniel (Kathrine) Schirra, Rhiannon Countryman and Adam Plavchak. His loving great-grandchildren, Olivia & Hudson Schirra, Jordan & Julia Schirra, Ryder & Micaylie Paiano, Noah & Avery Schirra; brothers and sisters-in-law, William (Gerri) Crevar and Ronald Michael (June) Crevar; along with many loving nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his infant sons, Daniel and parents George Sr. and Anna Crevar.
Friends will be received from 11 am - 1:30 pm at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236, on Saturday September 17, with a Memorial Service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. The family would like to thank Nicole for her loving care, Daphne for her sweet spirit, Pastor Chris and Father Thomas for their spiritual guidance. The family would also like to express their thanks to Agape Hospice House of Columbia for their tender care of our father and family. Thanks to Milton-Shealy Funeral Home, Batesburg SC.
