George D. Fischer's Obituary
George Fischer, age 70, of Baldwin Township, passed away surrounded by loving family on July 19, 2020.
George is survived by beloved wife, Carol (Alukonis) Fischer; brother, Robert A Fischer; son, Kenneth M Fischer; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, George A Fischer and Genevieve L Zekas and sister, Suzanne R Fischer.
George was a union carpenter for 52 years, a 40 year member of Masonic Lodge #684 where he was the Past Master in 1994 and volunteered as a Shriner. When Ken was young, George was involved as an Indian Guide and troop leader for the Boy Scouts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, 2-4PM & 6-8PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A blessing service will be held Saturday, at 12PM.
Memorial contributions may be made in George's name to Masonic Lodge #684.
