George M. Cardone's Obituary
George M. Cardone, 75, of South Park, formerly of Brookline, passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 21, 2017.
George is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Carol (Poland) Cardone. His children Dawn (Kurt) Lewis, George (Linda) Cardone, Carolann (Ron ) Douglas, Anthony (Jodi) Cardone. Grandfather of Cody Douglas, Gabrielle Cardone, Jordan Lewis, Kayla Douglas, Cory Lewis, Anthony Cardone. Great Grandfather of Slade Griffeth. Brother of Samuel Cardone, Donald Cardone, and the late Theresa Belenis; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Margaret Cardone. George was an avid golfer and bowler and a master Yahtzee player.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday 6 to 9 pm & Wednesday 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Divine Liturgy will be held on Thursday at 11:30 am at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 123 Gilkeson Rd, Pittsburgh 15228. Interment at Jefferson Memorial Park.
