Gary Thomas Vollmer, 74, of South Park, passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 17, 2016. He was born in Pittsburgh on October 7, 1942, to Frederick and Ernesta Vollmer.
Gary is survived by his beloved Wife of 50 years, Peggy (Murray) Vollmer.
Gary is survived by his two daughters, Sheri (Robert) Downey and Nikki Vollmer; two sons, Gary (Amy) Vollmer and Christopher (Ashley) Vollmer; five grandchildren Abby, Brooke, Tyler, Jack and Blake; and his brother, James Vollmer.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A mass of Christian burial will be conducted at St. Thomas A' Becket on Friday at 10 am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas A' Becket Catholic Church, 139 Gill Hall Road, Clairton, Pa 15025. Condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
