Gary A. Triebsch Sr. July 6th, 1938 - December 16th, 2024
With Profound Sadness, we announce the passing of Gary A. Triebsch Sr., Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. Born on July 6th, 1938, Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Read Triebsch, Parents Albert and Margaret Triebsch, sister Alberta Hipert, and son Michael A. Triebsch.
He will be deeply missed by his brother, Donald Triebsch and sister, Janet Crowe.
His children, Gary A (Julie) Triebsch Jr. and Cynthia (Richard) Winslow, and daughter-in-law Ann Triebsch, knew the depth of his unconditional love, constant source of pride and strength. His grandchildren, Kimberly Triebsch, Amanda (Rob) Acker, Luke Irvin, Matt (Lauren) Irvin, Shanna ( Casey ) Vucinic, Colleen (Glen) Garrett, Adam Triebsch, Lucy Triebsch, and Grace Triebsch- were a joy, and his great-grandchildren, sixteen in all, brought him immense happiness.
Gary will be deeply missed by his loving companion, Carole Karn, who brought joy to his life in recent years. Carole's family, who embraced Gary as one of their own, will fondly remember his kindness, humor, and warmth he shared with them.
Gary dedicated his professional life to being a skilled electrician at US Steel, where his hard work ethic and passion for his trade were only matched by his love for family.
Beyond his career, he was a man of many passions. An Avid gardener, he nurtured beauty and life in every corner of his yard. He was well-known for starting tomato and pepper plants from seeds and generously sharing them with family, friends, and neighbors. Golfing with his wife and life-long friends was one of his favorite activities. He enjoyed traveling when he had the chance.
Gary has an extraordinary gift for connecting with people. He treated everyone with respect and warmth, regardless of position or circumstances. He never met a stranger, and his presence brought comfort and encouragement to all who met him.
Above all, Gary's faith was a cornerstone of his life, A devoted member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park, PA, he found purpose and fulfillment as an usher and greeter, where his kind smile and welcoming nature blessed all who entered the church doors. His service to the church was not just a role but a true calling.
A special thank you to Suncrest Health and Hospice. Kelly, Lisa, and Leslie provided loving care and comfort to Gary and his family.
A viewing will be held on Friday, December 20th, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh PA, 15236. A service will be held on Saturday, December 21st, 2024 at 3pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to be held at Jefferson Memorial Park Mausoleum.
