Gary L. Griffiths' Obituary
Gary L. Griffiths, age 70, of Beechview, passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2025. Gary retired from the Port Authority. Upon retiring, he found joy in spending time at his camp in Slippery Rock's Moraine Camplands, where he created lasting memories with family and friends. Gary was known for his wit and humor, always ready with a joke that would bring joy and laughter to those around him.
Gary is the beloved husband of Donna (Kosarich) Griffiths; father of Amy (Kurt) Engelhardt and Gary (Danielle) Griffiths, Jr.; loving pap of Kurt Engelhardt, Jr., Griffin Engelhardt, Gavin Griffiths, Gabriella Griffiths, Jase Griffiths and Bryce Griffiths; brother of Bert (Joyce) Griffiths and Gail (Steve) Horvath.
He is predeceased by his parents, Bertram and Treva Griffiths.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 28th from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29th at 12 P.M. in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
