Frank Rowland Vittone's Obituary
Frank Vittone, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2023. Born on August 28, 1952, Frank lived a full and vibrant life, touching the hearts of everyone he met.
Frank was the devoted husband of Vera Vittone. He was a cherished stepfather to Joe (Carrie) Matey and Jackie (George) Saula, and a wonderful grandfather to Joey and Kaitlyn. Frank also leaves behind his sisters, Dulcie Wilson and Anne Hultz, and his longtime feline companion, Buddy the Cat.
Professionally, Frank was a dedicated electrician for 35 years with J.W. Peters Electric, retiring in 2018. Frank was a passionate fan of Pittsburgh sports, with a particular fondness for the Pirates and Steelers. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he was often the life of the party during game days. His love for his city and its sports teams was only surpassed by his love for his family and friends.
In addition to being a sports enthusiast, Frank was an avid traveler. His favorite destination was Las Vegas, where he enjoyed the vibrant nightlife, the thrill of the casinos, and the warmth of the desert sun. His adventurous spirit and zest for life were truly infectious.
Frank's love for animals was evident in his relationship with his cat, Buddy, and his support for Animal Friends. He believed in the power of kindness and compassion, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
In his passing, Frank leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and dedication. His memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Frank Vittone will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
