Frances "Faye" Witner (Raso)'s Obituary
Frances "Faye" Witner, of Finleyville, passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 20, 2016, following a long battle with lung cancer. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Charles and Mary Raso. Her unwavering faith carried her through her life's journey, which was an inspiration to all who knew her. Faye is survived by the love of her life, her husband, James Witner. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Dorothy (John Patrick survives) Kingston. She is survived by children, Michelle Petroci, Charles (Pamala) Meo, Joseph (Maggie) Meo, Ross (Pegeen) Meo, and Vince Meo; step-children, James (Cindy) Witner, Thomas (Amy) Witner, Susan (Tom) Caldwell, Lorraine (Mike) Fleming, and Cindi (Joe) DuFour; many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Longo, Anna Messina, and Esther Casale; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Frank Raso; and step-daughters, Linda and Darlene Witner. Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 24, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, August 25, at 11:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Mt Vernon of South Park for their tireless and exceptionally compassionate care and to their church family at Library Baptist Church.
