Frances Seery's Obituary
Frances Jane Seery, a long time resident of Baldwin Borough, PA and Las Vegas, NV passed away on September 8, 2025 at 84 years old at Whitetail Springs Hospice in Pittsburgh, PA after a long illness.
She was born July 2, 1941 in Bath, Maine to Harry and Edith Garcelon. They later moved to Caribou, Maine where she attended school in Caribou and later graduated from Caribou High School in 1958.
She later married William Seery, who was stationed at nearby Loring Air Force Base. They had three children (Mark, Rhonda, and Timothy) and for the next decade they moved around the country and overseas as an Air Force family eventually settling in Baldwin Borough in his hometown of Pittsburgh after his retirement.
Later she helped run her husband's Locksmithing Service as an accountant and job caller. After his passing in 2000 she moved to Las Vegas, NV for a change of scenery and to be near other family. Eventually she moved back to Pittsburgh to a care facility due to deteriorating health.
She is predeceased by her husband William Seery, mother Edith Garcelon, brother Ronald Garcelon, and grandson Matthew Mark Seery. She leaved behind her three children, Mark Seery, Rhonda Gournic, and Tim Seery. As well as grandchildren Bobbie Weiland, Matthew Zabielski, Rachel Seery, Ryan Seery, Deborah Chandler, and seven great grandchildren.
Interment will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Pleasant Hills, PA.
