Frances L. Doerr 82, of Pittsburgh, passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 4, 2017. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 15, 1934, to the late Robert and Martha Bittner. Frances enjoyed 60 years of marriage to her beloved husband Donald Doerr Sr.. Adored mother of Marcie (Roy) Jacobs, Donald D. Doerr, Jr., Carol A. Spang and the late Darlene and David Doerr; her grandchildren, Michael, Rick, Jesse, Jamie, Natalie, Maggie, Matthew, Michelle, Madelyne, and 4 great-grandchildren. Fran loved to care for her family she was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother and will be deeply missed. Friends will be received on Friday from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Saturday from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Sunday at 3 pm in the funeral home's chapel. Condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
