Florence Arlene Crooks' Obituary
Florence Arlene Crooks, age 85, of Pittsburgh PA., passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 29, 2023.
She is survived by her loving children Jerome R. (Mary Anne) Crooks Jr. and Dianne (John) Tosic, her grandchildren, Jerome R. Crooks III, Theresa C. Leonard, Edward J. Tosic, James W. Tosic, and Grace A. Kinzel, her great-grandchildren, Aeden R. Leonard and Victoria Anne Leonard, and her brother, Edward Law. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerome Robert Crooks Sr., and her parents, Richard and Ruth Law.
Florence was a graduate of Sharpsburg High School. In her younger years she participated in Girl Scouts and band. She married the love of her life, Jerome Robert Crooks Sr. and raised two wonderful children. Florence worked as an Administrative Assistant for an Electrical Supply company for several decades. She was known as a hard working, diligent, and efficient woman, who took care of her husband for many years as his sole caregiver later in life. Above all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA 15236. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Funeral Home Chapel following final respects. Burial to take place at Jefferson Memorial Park.
