My husband Chuck and I knew Sam from St Anns school in Castle Shannon and then at South Catholic. He was a great person and so sorry to hear of his passing. Our sincere condolences. Georgia and Chuck Meyers
I had the honor and great privilege of both knowing and working for Sam at his TRULY neighborhood bar Sammy O's in Castle Shannon, PA. Sam was truly a great guy who while he had a tremendous sense of humor and fair play, could be a real law and order guy if someone acted up inside of his business. I was also quite lucky to met his wonderful Wife Val when I worked at the bar, and I will hold those precious memories close to my heart for ever. R.I.P. Sammy O.
