Evelyn Grace Nix's Obituary
Evelyn Grace Nix, born on May 8, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, at the age of 94. A devoted homemaker and loving mother, Evelyn was known for her incredible artistic talents, which included painting and crafting. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, such as completing puzzles.
Evelyn was a cherished mother to her four children:Connie (the late Michael) Kowelecki, Russell Nix, Mark (Sharon) Nix, and Eric (Nancy) Nix; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Nix; her parents, Edward and Mary Taylor; and her siblings, Frank Taylor, Mary Jane Blice and Dorothy Focer.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 12th from 2-4 & 6-8 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, at 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A Blessing Service will be held on Monday, January 13th at 1 P.M. in the funeral home chapel.
