Eric R. Hoellein's Obituary
Eric Richard Hoellein (56) passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by loved ones, on March 2nd, 2026.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, to his parents William and Patrica, Eric lived a life of quick wit and sarcasm. Eric was an easygoing and friendly man, always putting smiles on everyone's faces. Whether he was cheering for the Steelers or caring for his family, Eric always had a positive energy that couldn't be ignored.
Eric served in the United States Navy from 1992 to 2002 as a Second Class Fire Controlman. During his time on the USS Kitty Hawk, he visited countries such as Japan, South Korea, and Iraq.
He is survived by his father William (Bud), his mother Patricia, his partner/best friend Debra, His brother Kurt, his three children, Aundrea, Josh, and Max, and his four grandchildren Jackson, Sloane, Jocelyn, and Theodore.
A celebration of Eric's life will take place at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, with visitation starting at 2 P.M. and service starting at 4 P.M. After the service, He will be taken to his final resting place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
