Emilie J. (Falavolito) Keppel's Obituary
Emilie J. (Falavolito) Keppel, age 93, formerly of Greentree, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. Emilie was born in Czechoslovakia, the daughter of the late Josef and Anna (Jandos) Bohm.
In 1946, Emilie moved to the United States as a war bride, following her marriage to World War II veteran, the late, Elmer J. Falavolito. She enjoyed a long career of 25 years working as the front desk manager at Viking Motel. In her free time she was an avid bowler and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. Emilie was a wonderful cook and loved to prepare and share meals with her family.
Emilie is survived by her son, Paul Falavolito and his wife, Carol, and their children, Paul, Diana, Stephen, Jeff, Matt and Christopher; her daughter, Evelyn Derrickson and her husband, William, and their son, Will; and Emilie's granddaughter, Christi; and her many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Emilie was predeceased by her second husband, John Keppel and her brother, Karl Bohm.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
