Elwood R. Schultise's Obituary
Elwood R. Schultise, age 96, of Whitehall (formerly of Bethel Park), passed away of Covid-19 on Sunday, December 6, 2020.
Elwood is survived by his sisters; Janet Schultise and Katherine (James) McGlynn; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, William and Martha (Wimer) Schultise; Wife, Jane (Little) Schultise; Daughter, Elizabeth Ann Ochs; and siblings, William Schultise, Martha Potter, Gladys Poe, and Arthur Schultise.
Elwood was a WWII Navy Veteran serving on the USS Nevada. He was involved in 4 theaters of operations at Normandy, Southern France, Iwo Jima and Oakinawa.
Given the current health restrictions we are currently experiencing only 25 people will be allow to gather at any given time, face coverings are a must and physical distancing is encouraged.
Friends and Family are welcomed on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 12 to 2 pm & 4 to 6 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 10 am in the Funeral Home's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in memory of Elwood to the Make a Wish Foundation at 707 Grant Street, ste 3700, Pittsburgh PA 15219-1938.
