Elmer W. Russell, 93, of Pleasant Hills, peacefully passed away on February 26, 2016, surrounded by his family on the third anniversary of his wife, Dorothy Anna (Brown) Russell's passing; loving father of Sandra (Keith) Madden, Sharon Spinneweber, Linda (Scott) Houston; proud "Pap" of Aimee and the late Ryan Madden, Kristi (Toki) Barron and Steven Spinneweber, Amanda and Lauren Houston; son of the late Elmer C. Russell and Anna Blanche Russell (Graham). Elmer was a proud Veteran of World War II, where he served on Guam as a Pharmacist's Mate First Class in the United States Navy. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-8 P.M. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, where a service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 A.M.
